Kemtrak Photometer DCP007-UV

DESCRIPTION

Kemtrak DCP007-UV Flow Photometer

The Kemtrak DCP007-UV Flow Photometer uses an ultra-low current of cold light at the exact wavelength required for analysis and without exposing the analyzed sample to thousands of times the energy used by traditional Ultra Violet (UV) photometers. This is accomplished with Kemtrak's latest DCP007-UV digital photometer utilizing a modulated high-performance UV LED light source with a precision fiber optic system.

Conventional UV photometers use mercury vapor lamps that continuously expose samples to a broad spectrum of UV radiation and heat generated by the lamps. This leads to rapid deterioration of the components of such photometers, and of the samples themselves, and yields unknown and potentially hazardous decay products.

The Kemtrak DCP007-UV's dual-wavelength, four-channel measurement technology and its advanced digital electronic design allow deep absorbance measurements up to 5 AU. Utilizing the short optical wavelength range allows even deeper optical absorbance measurements.

The convenient measuring cells and chambers have no electrical components and/or moving parts and are well suited for hazardous manufacturing environments. Kemtrak can also supply Kemtrak DCP007-UV filters and verification accessories that meet NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), USA requirements for tracking and verifying the photometer to specified performance requirements without interrupting production processes.

Light sources can be easily replaced on Kemtrak DCP007 photometers and configured to measure other desired wavelengths.

Used to measure:

  • Chemical concentrations of various components
  • Po/Cb chromaticity scale
  • Hazen Color Scale
  • Seybolt scale ASTM D 156
  • ASTM Standards
  • Chlorine Dioxide
  • ICUMSA Color
